This was the first of the ‘artefact’ Ancients comics I made, in which the Ancients of the future try to decode the meaning of the everyday objects we leave behind (did The Wombles start this trend?).
I recently played a charming, challenging, sprawling video game in the Sokoban style, called A Monster’s Expedition (through Puzzling Exhibitions). Throughout the game you discover ‘exhibits’ which are similar artefacts and habits of our time, interpreted and explained by some unseen future or para civilisation. I’d recommend it - It’s very funny, with an unmistakably UK-centric sense of humour. I don’t think there are any allen keys in it though…
Joe - this is one of your absolute best - over an already high bar!
Can only wonder if our interpretations of the ancients are as bang on as this.
