Is it really a single day? I suspect it’s more that when a certain series of conditions occur, a flurry is triggered…. but I like that it’s become an annual ‘celebration’.

I love the irony of this. In order to escape the ants from their hills he had to climb into a hole which is nothing more than an enlarged tunnel in an anthill from which they emerge.
