It’s a season. Although I guess it’s a day from an ant’s perspective 🐜.

Practically a lifetime!

House hunting, maybe.

I love the irony of this. In order to escape the ants from their hills he had to climb into a hole which is nothing more than an enlarged tunnel in an anthill from which they emerge.

Not knowing THE day my poor dad once chose it as the day to repaint the garage door!!! Looked a bit like your candy floss 😱🤣🤣

Oh no! A sort of nightmarish version of wood chip wallpaper... 🪰

Eugghhhh... thanks for this - have preemptively shut the previously open back door. It's a day, but I seem to be surprised by it annually... As for desire for candy floss... somewhat abated.

😂 Apologies

It's just one day from my perspective too. The ants go flying on the same day in our whole neighbourhood. Although that's not as impressive as it sounds...

It was one day near us, at least it seemed to be. All the gulls went loopy from eating them, wandering around in the middle of the road, stepping out directly under rolling tyres (did you know flying ants make them a bit drunk, we get lots of gull roadkill on flying ant day) and generally acting like they've juat fallen out of a Weatherspoons after a 12 hour bender. Next day, completely normal.
